Deutscher Dom

Deutscher Dom is a cathedral located in Berlin on the Gendarmenmarkt across from the Französischer Dom.

The church is not a cathedral in the strict sense of the word because it has never been the seat of a bishop.

The Deutscher Dom was completely destroyed in World War II and was subsequently rebuilt from 1977 to 1988. The church was updated and reopened in 1996 as the Museum of German History.
